BODY PEEL $40-$200

A chemical peel involves the application of chemical solutions to remove damaged outer layers of dead skin cells from skin’s surface. Extremely beneficial for many skin conditions such as hyperpigmentation, rosacea, acne, sun damage, and photo aging. By removing the build-up of dead skin cells and stimulating the

regenerative process, you will notice marked improvements in formation of wrinkles and lines, texture and tone, hydration, reduced pore size, clearing of blemishes, a more balanced oil production and an overall healthier skin appearance. All treatment procedures are considered superficial; they do not penetrate beyond the epidermis or papillary dermis, not to be confused with medical or physician-strength peels that affect the reticular dermis.

PROGRESSIVE

Does not cause immediate exfoliation and only removes the outer layer of skin or the stratum corneum. As treatments are repeated, the skin will experience a mild sloughing.

MID-DEPTH

Affecting the intra-epidermal layer, exfoliation occurs within two to three days. The skin goes through very little down time. Peeling consists of light flaking similar to a sunburn peel.

DEEP

Affecting the deepest intra-epidermal layers. Skin may become brown and crusty then undergoes considerable peeling, occurring three to four days after application. The entire process takes about seven to ten days.

RESURFACING TREATMENTS

MICRODERMABRASION – $75-110

Derma planing is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure, representing the most current advancements in skin rejuvenation for safe and effective skin exfoliation. This procedure utilizes a special surgical blade called the “Epi-Blade” to carefully remove the upper most layers of the dermis resulting in a refinished appearance. This procedure effectively removes not only the top layers of damaged skin but also the very fine vellous hair (peach fuzz) that can trap excess dirt and oil leaving the complexion looking dull. A method of introducing a controlled wounding into the skin triggering a release of natural growth factors, new collagen and elastin. This process causes much less damage to the epidermis than dermal rolling , lasers and other ablative treatments, which helps to protect the new skin cell growth providing for quicker healing and a much higher success rate for overall and longer lasting results.

*What is Automated Micro-Needling?

Automated Micro-Needling is an innovation in aesthetic medicine for the treatment of fine lines, acne scars and improvement of the skin’s overall appearance. Tiny needles create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin. The skin’s repair process results in a thicker dermis with the appearance of softer wrinkles. Automated micro-needling also creates superficial micro-channels which allow topical serums, and creams to be absorbed more effectively into the skin.

*How is micro needling different from Lasers?

Lasers can be a great tool for treating aging skin. However, lasers use focused light to produce heat that destroys certain colors of pigment and vaporizes skin. This is great for targeting dark spots but often leads to complications when treating patients with naturally darker skin. The collagen pen breaks up pigment mechanically and remodels the collagen without heat or the light. When the heat is removed from the process, it makes for a much safer, more comfortable, more consistent treatment. No heat also equals less downtime!
